A few months ago, I was getting
into the back of my car only to discover it was filled with three large bags
taking up every inch of space. At first, I was a tiny bit irritated,
now where would I put all my groceries? But then I chuckled as my heart swelled
with gratitude.
I realized how blessed I am. The
back of my little car is full because it is filled with my 3 favorite “T” Bags and I am lucky enough to do my
favorite things all the time! This blog is dedicated to those three “T” Bags which represent my most
favorite things:
1. Temple Bag: Represents my testimony of
the Gospel and my love for my family. I treasure my time at the temple and I am
eternally thankful for sacred covenants that seal families together forever.
2. Teaching Bag: I have taught Institute
for over 10 years. It is the best job in the world! I love reading, studying,
and pondering the scriptures and my lessons.
3. Tennis Bag: If I’m not at the temple or
at my desk preparing a lesson then I am on the tennis court. I love being in
the beautiful outdoors and playing tennis. Thankfully by old body still allows
me to play.
I am grateful for 3 large “T” Bags that fill my car and my heart. I hope these bags will be
around for a very long time.
